Kylah: I like second grade a lot. I think Mrs. Cropper is funny. My brother was in this class and now I am. I like the frogs that are here. It is fun when we sing the silly songs. We are reading the Frog and Toad books and I like them. When I grow up I want to be a model. My favorite color is pink. Right now I like cheerleading. I want to do that when I am in high school.

Allison: I really like doing math. I think it is fun to add numbers. I am excited about second grade. I hope we learn how to read harder books. I like reading the Junie B. Jones books and the Frog and Toad books. When I grow up I want to be a professional gymnast. I used to take gymnastics and I want to start taking lesson again. I can do a flip in the air! My favorite color is orange. I have a dog at home that is a Yorkie.

Luke: I think Greentown is a great school. It is fun when we go to art and gym. I get to see all my friends at recess and lunch. I want to learn more about math. Math is my favorite subject. In second grade we are working at centers and I like that. I get to work on computers each week and that is fun. When I grow up I want to either be a baseball player or a dirt bike rider. I have a dirt bike that I ride at home. I like riding it.

Alaina : I really like second grade because it is fun. I can’t wait to learn cursive. My favorite color is probably brown. In math I like learning new things. Mrs. Cropper read the Frog and Toad books and they were really good. My favorite is Toad because he is funny. He does funny things in the books. I have two cats at home. I really want a dog. When I grow up I want to be a vet.

Alex: I like Greentown because it is a fun school. We have really fun recesses. I like to play kickball and tag with my friends. We are doing stations and I think they are fun so far. When I grow I want to be a firefighter. I care about people and I want to help them and save them when they are in trouble. My favorite color is blue now, it use to be red.

Ryley : I think second grade is fun. I like doing centers each week. I like when we do handwriting. We have a book that we practice in and it is fun. It is fun when Mrs. Cropper reads the Frog and Toad books. I think Toad is funny when he says, “Blah.” When I get older I want to be a chef in a restaurant. I like helping my grandma cook. We make really good cookies together.

Dray: I like doing math in school. I am good at adding numbers. I want to learn how to multiply numbers. I really like gym. We play a really neat game called “Mission Impossible”. At home I have three dogs. I like dogs because one of my dogs sleeps with me at night. When I grow up I’m not sure what I want to be.

Alexis: I like Greentown because everyone is so nice. I like second grade because we are going to learn cursive. I like going to gym and music. “Mission Impossible” is a fun game we play in gym. My favorite color is blue and my favorite kind of ice cream is Oreo Cookie. I like playing sports. I play softball, basketball, and golf. I go golfing with my dad.

Davan: I think second grade is fun because I have made a lot of new friends. I like when we get to do centers because we use the computers. I like reading in our book nook too. My favorite color is aqua. We just got a new dog named Billy. I like doing math. I like to add numbers.

Emily: I like second grade a lot. I like to read and I like the Frog and Toad books. I think Toad is funny in those stories. I like recess because I get to play on the bars. I want to play soccer for Hoover when I am in high school. My favorite color is pink and my favorite animal is a dog. I have a Golden Retriever at home named Katie.

Ryan: I like second grade because I am in the frog room and because I got the teacher I wanted. I like recess. I play kickball with my friends. I like math and adding numbers. I can’t wait to learn how to carry and borrow with numbers. My favorite color is red and my favorite food is rice and hot dogs. When I grow up I want to be a basketball star.

Ericka: Greentown is nice because it has nice houses. Where I live there are nice people. Our cafeteria food is really good. My favorite is the spaghetti. I like to read books fiction books. I can’t wait until we learn cursive. My favorite color is pink and I like playing soccer.

Xander: I think school is fun because we do math. I like working with numbers to ten. I think our recesses are fun. We get to swing, play football, and do other fun stuff. When I grow up I want to work with animals and save them. My favorite color is blue and my favorite food is pasta. I like it when mom makes it at home.

Jenna: I am new to Greentown and I really like it. We have great recesses because I get to play tag with my friends. I like doing math when we add and subtract. I like reading the Junie Bloom books. My mom reads them to me. When I grow up I want to be a teacher because I like kids. My favorite color is pink because it is a spring color. My season is winter because I like snow and I was born in the winter.

Dylan: I like my new school because it is a good place to do work. I like playing kickball at recess. I can kick the ball far and I like running the bases. I like doing math. I like adding and subtracting numbers. I want to learn about African Bullfrogs, Red-Eyed Tree Frog, and other kinds of frogs. We have an African bullfrog in our room. I like watching him eat when we feed him.

Kramer: I think we have really good lunches at school. My favorite lunch is chicken nuggets. I also like all the activities we do. It is fun when we go outside to work. I like going outside for gym too. I want to learn how to multiply this year. When I grow up I want to make pottery. I don’t take classes yet but I want to. My favorite colors are blue and orange.

Nick: This is my first year at Greentown. I really like it here. I like our gym, music, and recess. In gym we play a neat game called “Run for The Rainbow”. We also play a game called “The Sinking Island” too. My favorite color is red and my favorite food is pizza. I like just pepperoni and cheese. My favorite place to get pizza is Pizza Hut. I like reading the Frog and Toad books. My favorite character is Toad. He is funny when he is grumpy. When I get older I want to be a veterinarian because I like animals.

Anya: I like school because we get to do math. We have a fun school to be at. I like to read the Frog and Toad books at school in our book nook. I like when we sing in class too. When I grow up I want to be a teacher. I want to teach little kids too. My favorite colors are blue, green, and yellow. I want to learn lots more math.

Matthew: I like Greentown and this is my first year here at this school. I like the Frog and Toad books. I think Frog is the best character because he is funny. I like our class pets in our room. We have an African Bullfrog and a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. Their names are Macy and Mack. My favorite color is green and my favorite food is cheese pizza. I like Pizza Hut pizza the best. I like playing baseball and football. This year I am playing on the Greentown team.

Dominick: I like second grade a lot. I have a lot of friends in school. I like reading books at school. We have a book nook and it is fun to read in there. I like to read books about dinosaurs. My favorite is the T-Rex because they lived the longest. My favor colors are blue and black. When I grow up I want to be a cop.

Tony: I like school. I like recess the best. I like to play kickball with my friends. I am good at math and I like it. I like working with math word problems. I want to play football for The Ohio State when I get older. I hope I am the quarterback. I think it is a fun position to play. My favorite colors are green, black, and orange. My favorite food is apple pizza. It is a dessert pizza and I had it at Chucke Cheese.

Jackson: I like my school because we have fun. I like singing our silly songs. My favorite is called “The Button Factory”. My favorite color is blue and I my favorite animal is the lion. I like how it roars loud. I like playing kickball at recess.

Nate: I like doing centers at school. It is fun to read books in our book nook. Right now I like the Nate the Great books and Frog and Toad. In gym I like to play “Mission Impossible”. Our gym class is always really fun. I like to spell too. My favorite colors blue and red. I like playing baseball, soccer, and football. I play football and baseball on a Greentown team.

Drew: I think school is fun because we do centers and they are fun. I like playing football and kickball with my friends at recess. I want to learn how to read harder books. I can’t wait until we reach our class goal jar with good behavior and get ice cream sandwiches. My favorite color is blue because my room is blue. When I grow up I want to either be a football player or a baseball player. I want to play football for the Steelers and baseball I want to play for the Indians.
