Our
3rd graders loved learning about whales. We
read several fiction and non-fiction books, (see our book list and more whale books )
and did projects and activities in Language Arts, Math, Science,
Social Science, and Art. Thinking maps made with Inspiration helped us create
our final projects using HyperStudio, and we inserted
the pictures we drew in HyperStudio into our Inspiration projects. Inspiration, HyperStudio and
art make the curriculum accessible to students of all abilities – regular
ed, GATE, special ed, and English Language Learners. Inspiration thinking
maps connect California Standards in Language Arts, Mathematics,
Science, and Social Science.
