Overview: The children will be able to identify the given math shape. They will click and drag the shape name to the correct shape.

Standards: Identify and compare geometric shapes.

Preparation:
¨ Hands on activities with solid figures and shapes.
¨ Gather items that look like the various shapes and solid figures.
¨ Create word cards

Activity/Steps:
¨ Use the word cards as a visual when sorting the various shapes and solid figures.
¨ Compare and contrast the difference with such terms as face, side, corner, rolls, and does not roll.
¨ Use the activity as a final assessment.

Assessment:
The student must have eight out of the ten correct for a score of 80 %.
