Read and Release at BookCrossing.com... This site gets people to share books and then watches as those books travel around the world. It's easy to participate. Just select a book, register it on the site, read it, and express your opinion of the book on the site. Of course you'll want to share the book. Release it into the wild by printing BookCrossing labels from the site, posting them on the book, and setting it in a public place. It's as easy as that. Visit the website to see if anyone else has picked up and read the book. It's fun!

The "General Resources for Language Arts" section of our NCCS Treasure Chest of Technology Resources is the place to look for links to a variety of wonderful online literature based resources from around the World Wide Web.
