Our World

The sky, the trees, the grasses too,

The people, the places, oh how things grew.

For in our world as far as the eye can see,

Everywhere things are living, like you and me.

And as we search and search and look,

We finally take the routes our ancestors took,

We'll lead a life, a healthy one,

We'll work and play and have some fun.

So when you step out of your house; take a look around,

And remember how fortunate you are, for a family you have found.

The Night Before New Years

Twas the night before New Year's

And people did shout

About Y2K

It buzzed all about

They said the computers

Were going berserk!!

No one could save them

But one techno-jerk

No one knew who he was

Or where he was from,

They did only know that

He had really come.

He went to the city

And found the main disk-

Doing this, he thought,

Was such a big risk.

He fixed the computers,

Got rid of the bug.

Everyone was so happy,

They gave him a hug.

Then he sped off

In his McClaren F1

Everyone was partyin'

'Til two thousand-one!
