Welcome to my homepage!
I have been a reading teacher at the North Canton Middle School for the last thirteen years with past teaching experiences at the elementary school level and in special education. I have worked with children a total of 28 years and hold many wonderful memories of lives that I have touched. I hold an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, a master's degree from the University of Akron, and a special education certification from Walsh University.
I live in North Canton with my husband, John. My daughter, Whitney, is a graduate of Ohio University and currently lives in Los Angeles and works in the movie production industry as an actor assistant. My son, Kyle, is a graduate of the University of Maryland and lives in the D.C. area working as a medical recruit for the federal government. Also don't forget my dog, Oreo!
All of my students can read, but I wish to help them sharpen their skills and to instill in them the joy of literature and the adventure it holds. Literacy is a life-long joy!
