Hi! My name is Barb Spurgeon and I am the Physical Education teacher at Clearmount Elem. School and the Early Childhood Center. I graduated from Malone College and was a member of the Lady Pioneer's Basketball team for 4 years. I earned my Master's Degree in Physical Education at the University of Akron in 1991. I have been teaching for 25 years. I enjoy sports, shopping and traveling. My favorite sports are basketball, football, golf and racquetball.
In physical education classes, I try to establish a positive learning environment that instills, promotes, and motivates students to value a healthy and physically active lifestyle that enhances the quality of their daily activities both now and in the future.
