Welcome to my webpage.

I graduated from Kent State University with a BA in mathematics and a minor in secondary education. I have taken additional course work in learning disabilities, math topics, and Discovery learning.  My master's degree is in education as a math specialist.  My husband and I have two adult children who graduated from Hoover and a granddaughter who will also most likely graduate from Hoover.  (What a great community we live in!)  We also have a very spoiled golden retriever named Barkley.  ( He deserves to be spoiled.  He is a super pet.) This spring my husband brought home an abandoned cat.  I do not consider myself a cat person, but Toby has done his best to be a loveable lap cat.   I enjoy walking, reading, and playing the bells.

 My favorite subject has always been and will always be math. You might not share my love for math, but I hope I am able to help you develope an appreciation for the subject.
