Middle school is a very important time in a student's life where they will begin to develop many important learning and life skills, both academically and socially.  In my class, we will focus on learning good writing and grammar skills which are vital to a student's success in school and beyond.  I plan to continuously emphasize the value of good writing, speaking, and listening skills regardless of my students' future plans.  Students will also be given many opportunities to collaborate and problem-solve with their peers as we work in large and small group settings.
