Welcome to my homepage! I am Mrs. Heckathorn and part of the 7the Grade White Community! The seventh grade science classes will be studying the inquiry of the science process skills including the scientific method, types of energy, matter, weather, animal diversity, and environmental issues. I use many different methods to teach science, including my new SMARTBoard (YEAH!!!), hands-on labs, lectures with notes, videos, PowerPoints, Computer Lab... Thanks for checking out my website!! Coaching middle school volleyball is one of my passions. This will be my thirteenth year of coaching. I can hardly believe it has been so long?

Personal Info: I am happily married to Dennis and have two children-Josh (15) and Stephanie (12). I also have two BIG dogs- Pluto and Spirit. I love fishing (especially saltwater), sports, cooking, tech gadgets, and of course SCIENCE!!!!
