Hello!  Welcome to our homepage!

 

Team 7-Orange’s staff is composed of many people. The team consists of Mrs. Manse, the seventh grade discipline principal; Mrs. Brennan, the seventh grade counselor; exploratory teachers, and your academic teachers. Your academic teachers are Mrs. Fromholtz,Mrs. Heban,  Mrs. Meister, Mrs. Wyckoff and  Mr. York. Miss Stropki  will be our ISG Instructor. The staff is willing and able to assist you in any way they can.

 

Mrs. Fromholtz has been teaching for 28 years and is the reading teacher on the team. She obtained a B.S. in Education from Bowling Green University and an M.S. in Education from Akron University. She earned a Special Education certification from Walsh University and has postgraduate work at Ashland University. She resides with her husband, John, in North Canton. Her son, Kyle, lives in Maryland and her daughter, Whitney, lives in Los Angles. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, gardening, and home decorating.

 

Mrs. Heban is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus in Library/Media.  She received a Master’s degree from Ashland University in Curriculum Instruction.  She has additional graduate studies in Science from Kent State University. She taught Title I Reading at Greentown for one year, first grade for seven years and fourth for two years.  She’s looking forward to seeing some of her former “Bee Room” students as they come to the Middle School. She and her husband reside in Jackson Township.  They have four children and one grandson with three grandchildren on the way.  Her hobbies include reading, digital scrap booking, boating and travel. 

 

Mrs. Molly Meister is the English teacher on 7 Orange.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and her masters degree from Ashland University.  This is her 11th year teaching at NCMS.  Mrs. Meister lives in North Canton with her husband,  Frank, and their two children, Samuel and Caroline.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as reading, camping and photography.

         

Miss Stropki is the Individual Small Group Instructor on Team 7 Orange.  She is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and K-12 Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist license.  This is her second year teaching at NCMS and first in seventh grade.  She is also the 7th grade Orange Girls’ volleyball Coach.  Miss Stropki enjoys Indian’s baseball, watching football, and playing volleyball.  She also enjoys scrap booking  and spending time with friends and family.

 

Mrs. Wyckoff, our social studies teacher, has been teaching at North Canton Middle School since 1993. She is a graduate of Ohio Northern University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Her daughter, Lindsey, is a graduate of Hoover High School and Bloomsburg University. A recent newlywed, she lives in New Orleans with her husband, Jason.  Lindsey is a communications coordinator for the New Orleans Hornets, and Jason is the college scouting coordinator for the New Orleans Saints.  Mrs. Wyckoff enjoys visiting them and going to basketball and football games.  She also loves to travel and cook.

 

Mr. York is the math teacher on 7-Orange.  He graduated from Canfield High School, received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Walsh University, and received his master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University.  This is his 10th year of teaching mathematics, all of which in 7th grade.  He also is the boys’ Junior Varsity basketball coach at Hoover High School.  Some of his hobbies include mathematics, playing basketball, bowling, playing video games, reading books, reading Dilbert comic strips and listening to all genres of music.
