S.T.R.O.L.L. stands for: Seeing Technology Reach an Outdoor Learning Lab. This is the name of a $35,000 grant that was awarded to Northwood Elementary School by Hewlett-Packard. The goal of this grant is to enhance student learning through the use of technology. Northwood students will use PC-tablets, and digital cameras to observe and document seasonal changes in their outdoor learning lab.

The Northwood Outdoor Learning Lab consists of a pond, nature trail, butterfly garden, herb garden, peace pole, and learning pavillon.

Hands-on lesson plans for elementary students that are aligned with Ohio's Life-Science Academic Content Standards will be posted on this site. They will enable students to meet the project's goals.
