Nathan sent Stanley off to visit his Uncle Al in Rittman, Ohio. But Stanley and Uncle Al had no intention of staying on Ohio soil! Within a short time this postcard arrived:

Stanley...flying an AIRPLANE?!?!?! Oh my, the boys and girls in Room 108 aren't too sure about that! Nathan is positive that Uncle Al won't let Stanley do anything dangerous though...so we'll just wait for Stanley's next post. We are all wondering where that plane was going!

We didn't have to wait long! Nashville, Tennessee . . . known as "The Music City". Look at that big FLAT guitar on the side of the building . . . Stanley must have felt right at home! Here's what he had to say about flying to Nashville with Uncle Al:

We were relieved to hear that Stanley was the CO-pilot! Sure sounds like Stanley is having fun with Uncle Al...we're eagerly awaiting more news about their adventures together.

The next postcard told of the adventures Stanley was having with Aunt Winona (Uncle Al's wife):

Hi everybody!
On Saturday, October 28th I went with Aunt Winona to Allegheny College in Pennsylvania! It was dark when we left at 6:00 a.m. in the morning. It was a long drive. I slept most of the way there in an envelope! We saw lots of students. It was a fun day.
