Our class read The Dumb Bunnies by Sue Denim.
It was so funny! We decided to write a story about what the
Dumb Bunnies would do at school. We all worked together on
the story. We had fun thinking about the silly things they
could do in our classroom.
Here's our story:
The Dumb Bunnies went to school. When they got there they
sharpened their folders and put their pencils on the lunch
graph.
They threw their bookbags away and put their coats down
their pants.
They drew on their chairs and sat on their paper.
They went to the bathroom in the sink and washed their hands
in the toilet.
They put the trashcan on their heads and put the trash down
their pants.
In the cafeteria they took a bath in pizza sauce and washed
it off with chocolate milk and squirted ketchup up their
noses.
When they went outside for recess they put their gloves on
their ears and their coats on backwards.
On the playground they sat on their heads on the swings.
They took the trash out of their pants and threw it down
the slide.
In the gym, they did backflips on the trampoline wearing
their skis.
In the library they dribbled the books and shot baskets with
them.
In music they played instruments made out of carrots.
In art they painted moustaches on themselves.
When it was time to go home they carried the bus to the bus
stop.
