Please check the assignment book for homework. Each student is expected to read a minimum of 15 minutes each night. Parents should initial the assignment book to indicate they have seen the book and the reading has been done.

Students who do not complete in-class work in the time allotted or during academic assist will bring the unfinished work home to be completed. Parents should check and make note of repeated incomplete work.

Students will write one book report per grading based on the at home reading. The book report format and due date will be assigned in class and noted in the assignment book as a long term project. Book reports should be handwritten using  complete sentences following rules of grammar. The book report for the first grading period was sent home. The book report is due October 5.
